Mt Roskill South Development

We're investing in Mt Roskill.

Work is underway on a new project in Roskill South, an area within Mt Roskill bounded by the South Western motorway (to the north), the Akarana Golf Course, Richardson Road and May Road.

The Roskill South development will replace approximately 268 Housing New Zealand units with a total of approximately 800 new warm, dry, healthy homes.

Of this number, 300 will be new state homes. The balance will be a 50/50 mix of affordable homes below a particular price point, and market homes.

By using the land more efficiently than we did back in the 1950s and 60s when the original homes were built, we will be able to increase the numbers of community housing residences available and also build much-needed new homes for the Auckland housing market.

HLC is managing the building of the houses and some of the new amenities, like streets and parks. HLC are owned by Housing New Zealand Corporation.
