Acacia Home Design

The Acacia show home was conceptualised by our architectural design studio team to perfectly suit its Taupo hillside site. Acacia, aptly named for its proximity to picturesque Acacia Bay, Taupo, is a contemporary home featuring two distinct halves and a high end interior fit out.

The kitchen with separate scullery, open plan living and master en-suite are found on one side of the home. Each room showcasing either painted Lockwood timber or tiled feature walls and finished with stylish barn doors leading to the master, as well as extra height joinery in Textura Black with clerestories across the front for additional drama and volumetric space.

The other half of the home, comprising the entrance, main bathroom, laundry and two bedrooms, has a Scandinavian blonded timber finish and beautiful parquet flooring, which transitions the spaces well and creates a seamless connection.

The ensuite with rock pool garden and black stone bath create a private oasis off the master bedroom. High raking blonded sarked ceilings, with contrasting structural laminated beams complement the painted feature walls and parquet flooring. This absolutely stunning home is an entertainers dream with a large open plan kitchen and great outdoor living space.
